Because I have made the same mistake every year of waiting until mother’s day morning to get my mom a gift, I decided that I would get it done early-ish. I pinned a few cute ideas on my Pinterest and decided to go with a simple vase of fun things and snacks she’d like.
Instead of a cookie jar type of thing that I had repinned, I went with a flower vase instead so I can easily include flowers in the gift and she can use it later. This project was also super easy to make and I strongly recommend it for those of you who need a last minute gift.
I stopped at Target on the way home and picked up a few of the things I needed that I thought my mom would like:

I stopped at Target on the way home and picked up a few of the things I needed that I thought my mom would like:
- Dark chocolate
- Nail polish
- Seeds
- Shampoo
- Chapstick/lip balm
- Gum/candy
- Magazines
Because the vase is pretty narrow, I decided to try to stack all of the little things in an attempt to simultaneously make them fit and look nice.
I basically just wrapped a few of the little things, the chapstick and chocolate, to make them look prettier and put everything in the vase. The magazines and larger chocolate bar didn’t fit in the vase so I wrapped them in tissue paper and tied bows around them. I just set them out next the vase and it still looked cute.
(here is everything after I was done wrapping)
This little craft turned out great and I’m sure any mom will love it (it's the thought that counts too right?)
